• Audit and reconcile approximately 200 federal, state, and local payroll tax filings for five U.S. entities from CY2020 to present
• Research variances identified, resolve tax notices, and file amendments directly with relevant agencies
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all audits and research performed
• Ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll tax submissions
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Payroll for effective reporting

• Minimum of 3 years of U.S. payroll tax experience for a large multi-state employer
• Advanced Excel skills, including V‑Lookup and Pivot Tables
• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience

• Experience in auditing payroll tax filings in a multi-state environment
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast‑paced setting
• Strong sense of urgency and self‑starter mentality
• Proven track record of maintaining discretion and confidentiality in payroll matters
