Our client, a reputable and growing HR software company
, is expanding its customer base and scaling operations. They’re looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, bring clarity and consistency to reporting, and help modernize the accounting function as the company grows. Our client is open to someone looking for fulltime work or p/t hours of at least 5 hours a day.

What You’ll Do Financial Operations & Reporting

• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including weekly sales updates and monthly P&Ls by business unit.
• Reconcile systems between Hub Spot, Stripe, and Quick Books Online
  .
• Manage cash flow, payroll, contractor payments, reimbursements, and commissions.
• Oversee accounts payable, AMEX reconciliations, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Handle customer invoicing and collections, including international clients (UK & Australia).
• Prepare quarterly GST/HST filings and support year-end audits.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to support invoicing and CRM updates.
• Maintain accurate customer and financial records in Hub Spot and Quick Books.
• Support HR functions such as payroll, benefits, and vacation tracking.
• Assist with vendor management, scheduling, and internal process documentation.
• Help coordinate logistics for meetings and occasional in-person team gatherings.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  , ideally in a small business or startup.
• Proficiency in Quick Books Online
  ; experience with Stripe and Hub Spot is an asset.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills; experience wearing multiple hats.
• Based in Ontario (ideally GTA) for occasional team meetups.
