Three days in the office, two days remote.

The RoleThis fast-growing accounting and consulting firm seeks Senior and Staff Accountants for its location in New York City. Very flexible with in-office hours and working from home. Traveling to clients nationally and internationally is possible but not required.
- Assist clients with the following:
- Audit preparation and liaison with audit firms.
- Monthly financial closings.
- Assistance with accounting procedures.
- Assist or prepare financial statements, including disclosures for audit, review, and compilation engagements.
- A Bachelor's degree with a focus in accounting.
- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of public accounting experience.
- Demonstrated analytical proficiency in data research and interpretation.
- An understanding of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles
- Meets deadlines, prioritize appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Quick Books.
- Self-directed and self-motivated.
- Highly organized and efficient.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator.
