JOB TITLE:
Accounts Payable Specialist
Under general supervision, the AP Specialist is responsible for accurate, complete, and timely Accounts Payable processes and functions. Uses internal systems to input data, generate reports, conduct research and respond to both internal and external inquiries as needed.
This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Review, code, and process AP invoices across multiple entities
- Obtain purchase orders and approval of invoices via Docusign, follow up as necessary
- Process all payments:
Checks, wire, ACH - Respond to all internal and external AP inquiries
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and reconcile AR statements
- Quarterly vendor review to ensure W‑9's are current (within 2 years)
- Assist with Annual 1099 filing
- Various special projects for Assistant Controller
- Ensure compliance in Accounts Payable processes and provide assistance to internal and external audits
- Strong organizational skills
- Common sense approach to problem solving
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; be a “people person”
- ERP System savvy as well as proficient user of Excel, i.e., filters, pivot tables, lookups, etc.
- A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast paced agency environment; a distaste for the words “no” and “can’t”
- 3+ years AP experience, preferably with advertising agency

The base salary range for this role at the time of posting is $55,000 – $65,000. The salary an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on factors such as but not limited to: internal compensation of current employees in similar roles, market considerations, budgetary considerations, level of responsibility, background, experience, and qualifications.
