Job Description:

We are seeking a  Tax Accountant  with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in individual and business tax preparation/review. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax regulations, be proficient in  Quick Books  and  Pro Series , and be comfortable managing multiple client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and LLCs
Conduct tax planning and research for clients across various industries
Review general ledger accounts using Quick Books
Organize and analyze financial data to ensure accurate tax filings
Communicate with clients regarding tax notices, planning strategies, and bookkeeping needs
Stay up to date with the latest tax laws and industry practices
Support team members during peak seasons to meet deadlines

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or EA preferred but not required)
4–5 years of experience in public accounting or tax practice
Proficiency in  Quick Books  and  Intuit Pro Series  is a plus
Strong knowledge of tax laws, forms, and regulations
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
