Part Time Bookkeeper

Our client is looking for a detail‑oriented, reliable Part‑Time Bookkeeper to join their small team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is highly organized, and has strong experience using Quick Books. You’ll help keep our financial operations running smoothly by managing day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks and supporting accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records using Quick Books.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Prepare and send invoices; follow up on outstanding payments.
• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Generate financial reports as needed.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper (3+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency with Quick Books.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• A self started who can hit the ground running.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must have own laptop and a comfortable home office for remote work.
