Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview

Jefferson Wells has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a position with a client of ours in Detroit, Michigan
. This will be an a long-term (12-month+ contract role). It will be a hybrid schedule (3 days each week working in the client's offices in downtown Detroit, with Mondays and Fridays working from home).

Our consultants are hired as W-2 employees and are paid on an hourly basis through our regular weekly payroll. Health benefits are also available (see below).

• Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role in a large company.
• Must have experience with Netsuite
  .
• Must have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
• Local Detroit-area candidates only will be considered.

• Enter and upload invoices.
• Review, code and verify invoices against purchase orders.
• Monitor vendor statements to ensure payments are up to date.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Correspond with vendors and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Review substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close-out documents are obtained.
