Job Description

Our mission is to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity in financial data across entities. Operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, the team collaborates closely with local finance partners, tax experts and auditors to maintain strong financial controls and enable effective business decision‑making.

Based primarily in Camberley (Surrey, UK), the team fosters a supportive, collaborative culture that encourages ownership, continuous learning and professional growth.

Job Summary

We are seeking an entry‑level Financial Accountant to support accounting operations across the UK, Ireland, the Nordics and Poland. The role is ideal for someone beginning their accounting career who is eager to develop hands‑on experience within a dynamic, multi‑entity environment. Reporting to the Financial Accounting North Lead, you will perform core administrative accounting tasks, support month‑end close activities, maintain accurate general ledger records and contribute to local reporting and compliance requirements.

This position offers exposure to international accounting practices, SAP systems and opportunities to take ownership of key recurring processes. It is a 12‑month contract based in Camberley (Surrey, UK) in a hybrid working model.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support month‑end closing activities including journal postings, accrual calculations, depreciation runs and IFRS
    16 processes.
  • Perform key recurring tasks such as VAT netting, sales deferrals, stock provisions and recurring journal set‑up.
  • Maintain and clear balance sheet general ledger accounts, flagging anomalies for further investigation.
  • Assist with the creation of manual debit notes for intercompany sales.
  • Produce and follow up on statistical internal orders and local statutory data requirements.
  • Support external audit processes by gathering documentation, samples and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities to standardise, improve and increase efficiency across accounting processes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team and assist with local entity tasks as required.
Profile Description
  • Early‑career accounting professional, ideally AAT qualified or developing experience within the first 0‑3 years of your accounting career.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple entities, deadlines and time‑sensitive tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in repetitive and high‑volume tasks.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Reliable, punctual and accountable, with genuine pride in delivering high‑quality work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
  • Solid Excel skills; experience with SAP is beneficial but not required (full training can be provided).
  • Resilient under pressure and flexible to work extended hours during peak periods such as month‑end.
Benefits
  • Start your accounting career in an international environment: you will support multiple entities and gain exposure to international accounting standards and cross‑country processes.
  • Rewarding your contribution: we offer a competitive salary aligned with market benchmarks and a supportive environment where accuracy, ownership and commitment are valued.
  • A collaborative and supportive team: close‑knit team working across the UK, Ireland, the Nordics and Poland.
  • Opportunities to learn and grow: foundational experience in month‑end processes, tax reporting, SAP systems and multi‑entity accounting; on‑the‑job learning, mentorship and ownership.
  • Hybrid working and flexibility: 2‑3 days a week in the office with the ability to work from home on other days; additional hours may be required during busy periods.
  • Open, constructive conversations with the hiring team throughout the recruitment process.
