Opportunity Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Audit Associate to join an established accountancy practice in Liverpool. This firm, which has a growing presence across the North West, provides a wide range of services including Audit & Assurance, Tax, and Transaction Services. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are looking for a Audit Junior to join their audit team and contribute to their continued success.

Key Responsibilities- Perform audit work according to planning documentation and ensure compliance with auditing standards
- Assist Senior Audit Associates and other team members with audit fieldwork
- Support the planning and finalization of audit engagements, working directly with clients under the supervision of Managers and Directors
- Liaise directly with client finance teams to collect necessary audit evidence
- Draft reports, client letters, and other documentation based on audit findings
- Continuously develop your technical knowledge and expertise in line with professional goals
- Opportunity to participate in other projects, including assurance reports, forensic accounting, and financial due diligence assignments
- At least 12 months of experience in audit, with strong exposure to statutory audits of UK-based companies
- Experience in performing substantive tests of detail and other audit procedures
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and explain complex financial information
- Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to deliver projects under pressure and within deadlines
- ACA/ACCA studier
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all audit-related tasks
- Methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to succeed
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships both with clients and within the team
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
