Bookkeeper Accounting Analyst; Trial Balance Fully remote

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounting Analyst to support the finance function on a short-term project basis. This role is fully remote and suited to a hands‑on professional who can independently manage bookkeeping activities through to trial balance.

• Verification and posting of all financial transactions including :
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Payroll transactions
• Reconciliation of :
• Supplier accounts
• Credit card expenditure
• Bank statements
• Reconciliation of all accounting and payroll ledgers to trial balance
• Maintenance and updating of all general ledgers including nominal ledgers
• Processing and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
• Preparation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports up to trial balance level
• Submission of financial reports to the companys external UK accountants
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes in collaboration with external accountants

Minimum 18 months experience in bookkeeping / accounting

Strong hands‑on experience with DATEV or similar

Full access to your own accounting software

Advanced Excel

Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
