We seek a Canadian Tax Manager to join our team, where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next.

Your role

  • Working closely with the Tax Partners and other senior tax staff to develop and implement tax planning assignments for clients
  • Performing technical research, developing and documenting tax planning recommendations
  • Reviewing Canadian individual and corporate tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff
  • Consulting with clients regarding various business and tax planning needs
  • Adding value by identifying client service opportunities, including cross-team collaboration
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff for high performance and professional growth
  • Share your skills with the broader team by developing and facilitating ongoing training opportunities
  • Engage with all levels of the team while working to bring our strategy to life and participate in firm-wide events that foster our workplace culture

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting or equivalent field
  • CPA designation (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of total experience in tax within a professional services firm with a focus on private enterprises
  • Demonstrated success providing exceptional client service
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with problem-solving ability and professional judgment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; self-motivation with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
