Remote Position

Bookkeeper II

This role will be working on one of our larger clients. There is some opportunity to also work with some of our other smaller clients, should time permit. This role also includes customer/vendor communication for this larger client. Applicants should be available 9:00‑5:00, have strong customer service and Excel skills, along with a bookkeeping background. There is a team assigned to this client, a team player is a must.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Customer/ Vendor Service
  • Credit requests
  • Vendor set up & direct deposit
  • Misc client and vendor communication
  • Monthend Close Including
  • Reconciliations: inventory on hand, equipment, payroll, undeposited funds
  • Clearing uncategorized expenses
  • Bad debt reserve and write offs COGS calculations
  • Intercompany allocations
  • Payroll
  • 1099’s/ W-2s
  • System Issues – Sync issues with invoices, Reconciliations to customer portal
  • Large Account Management – Send statements, Chargeback disputes, Sales Tax multiple states, Business Tax and Licenses
The Skills And Qualifications You’ll Need To Succeed
  • Strong communication/ customer service
  • Advanced Excel skills including Vlookup, pivot tables & nesting formulas
  • Team player
  • 3+ years bookkeeping experience
  • Adaptable to learning new software
Minimum Level Of Education Required

2 year degree (AA, AS, etc.)

Location Requirement

Must be in Eastern or Central time zones
