Our client, a private, nonprofit Jewish university in Los Angeles, is seeking a Temp Staff Accountant.
Role: Temp Staff Accountant
Company: Confidential | Nonprofit Jewish University
Pay Rate: $36.00/hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
- Monday–Thursday: 7.5 hours/day onsite
- Friday: 5 hours remote (office closes early)
Details:
- Must have prior non-profit accounting experience
- Record and reconcile accounts receivable, cash receipts, and journal entries
- Assist with month-end close and bank reconciliations
- Maintain financial records and support ad-hoc accounting projects
Qualifications:
- Experience in education preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 2–3 years accounting or financial experience, preferably in nonprofit
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills
