Seasonal Tax Expert - CPA or EA - Work from Home
Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. If you have an active PTIN and an unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney) we would love to connect with you.
OverviewIn this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products. You will provide tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries.

- Fully remote work from home or office with collaboration via video communication software.
- Provide tax advice and prepare returns for customers using Intuit Turbo Tax products.
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers.
- Interact with customers via video/audio tools and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and active PTIN.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage customers professionally via video and audio tools.
- Passion for helping clients navigate taxation and dedication to enhancing the Intuit brand.
- Reliable internet connection that meets Intuit security criteria.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
Competitive base pay ranges vary by location and are as follows:
- Bay Area, California: $27.80 - $35.50
- Southern California: $27.80 - $35.50
- Colorado: $26.50 - $33.80
- Hawaii: $27.80 - $35.50
- Illinois: $26.50 - $33.80
- Maryland: $26.50 - $33.80
- Massachusetts: $27.80 - $35.50
- Minnesota: $23.80 - $29.30
- New Jersey: $27.80 - $35.50
- New York: $27.80 - $35.50
- Ohio: $23.80 - $29.30
- Vermont: $26.50 - $33.80
- Washington: $27.80 - $35.50
- Washington DC: $27.80 - $35.50
