Staff Accountant

Chevo Consulting is seeking an experienced Federal Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of technical and general ledger accounting and preparations of federal financial statements and notes. This position is a remote work environment, with the client site located in Washington DC metro area. Applicants must reside in the Washington DC metro area.

• Provides senior-level analytical and program support.
• Contribute to work plan development and often leads assigned engagement tasks to completion within scope and budget.
• Serves as a senior-level analytical correspondent within team.
• Responsible for contributing to work plan development, reaching milestones, and leading specific project tasks.
• Develop point papers, briefing materials, graphical presentations, and to make formal oral presentations of these materials to all levels of government personnel.

• BA/BS degree in accounting.
• 3 years’ directly relevant industry experience.
• Ability to receive and maintain a federal public trust clearance.

• CPA certification.

SALARY RANGE: $57,000 - $67,000
