Tax Accountant - Japanese Bilingual

Overview

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join our collaborative and innovative team.

• Fluency in Japanese
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Law, or a similar degree in business;
  Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• CPA, EA, or Juris Doctorate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring associates.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, analyze, organize, and communicate effectively.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, and demonstrate a continued commitment to learning about applicable strategies.
• Ability to grasp both the "big picture" and the "details."
• Ability to demonstrate appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment.
• Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment to project quality and timely completion.

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
• Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Assist with tax audits and resolve any tax discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and tax work papers.
• Provide tax planning advice to clients.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

$65,000.00~depends on experience

This position is based in their Miami office. Remote work may be considered for experienced candidates within accounting firms.
