• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Collaborate across the accounting & finance team to meet reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Complete month‑end close procedures, including monthly balance sheet reconciliation of sub‑ledgers to general ledger, booking all monthly accruals, and detailed balance sheet account analysis.
• Proactively schedule and post/process journal entries.
• Review general ledger activity weekly and communicate/remediate any errors.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports and financial data.
• Become proficient in the ERP system.
• Flexible: work location includes a mix of remote work, onsite at a client, or at an Accenture office or center.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or related field.
• Two to five years of experience as a Staff Accountant or above.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong account analysis and research skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills, with a focus in Excel.

• Professional certification (CMA, CPA).
• Professional services industry experience.
• Experience working in an ERP environment (preferably Deltek).
• Experience working with databases and SQL coding.
• Construction/Engineering/Architecture industry experience.
