The Senior Accountant will assist management in preparing various financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting reports.

Essential Functions:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports.

Perform accounting and reporting for investment portfolios.

Reconcile daily cash transactions and maintain accurate ledger records.

Assist in budgeting by providing variance analysis.

Participate in testing internal controls for compliance with NAIC Model Audit Rule standards.

Facilitate communication between departments and accounting to resolve cross-departmental challenges.

Stay updated on industry issues impacting the organization.

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

Act as supervisor for accounting employees when requested.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.

ExperiencePreferred:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Licenses & CertificationsPreferred:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
