We're seeking a Part-Time Senior Accounting Associate to join our 100% remote team and take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of small business clients.

This role is perfect for a seasoned accounting professional looking for flexible hours, meaningful client work, and a remote team culture built on support, collaboration, and autonomy.

• Own full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients in Quick Books Online (and some Desktop)
• Review financial statements prepared by junior staff; provide oversight, corrections, and mentorship
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, Amazon, Shopify, and merchant processors
• Perform monthly closes and deliver clean, tax-ready financials
• Handle light accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll in QBO or third-party platforms
• Maintain vendor records and ensure 1099/W-9 compliance
• Prepare and file sales tax returns
• Complete catch-up and cleanup projects for prior years
• Build tax work papers and review balance sheet accounts for accuracy
• Communicate with clients via email and video with professionalism and clarity
• Track time daily and manage tasks efficiently and within budget
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team-wide success
• Provide feedback on internal processes and collaborate on improvements

You're experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented. You know how to juggle multiple clients and still deliver stellar work. You're proactive, self-managed, and thrive in a remote environment.

• 3+ years recent experience at a public accounting firm (required)
• 3+ years hands-on with Quick Books Online (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
  , or related or equivalent experience
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Comfortable with remote, team-based collaboration

• Quick Books Pro Advisor certification
• Payroll experience
• E-commerce bookkeeping (Amazon, Shopify, etc.)

• Pay: $27-$40/hour (DOE)
• Schedule: Part-time, 20+ hours/week
• Core hours: Between 8 AM-6PM in your U.S. time zone (flexible within core business hours)
• Occasional overtime during peak seasons
