Senior Tax Accountant; Part Time - Remote

What You'll Do

As a key member of our tax team, you'll help clients stay compliant and confident while contributing to the mentorship and success of our junior staff. You'll:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and Individuals
• Deliver strategic tax planning and guidance throughout the year
• Review and provide feedback on work completed by junior tax staff
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on tax regulations
• Perform accounting reviews and journal entries in Quick Books
• Join client meetings to discuss budgets, forecasts, and year-round strategy

Who You Are

You're a dependable, detail-oriented tax pro with a solid public accounting background and a desire to contribute meaningfully on a flexible schedule. You have:

• 3+ years of recent experience in public accounting and successful tax seasons under your belt
• Strong skills in preparing and reviewing both business and individual returns
• Familiarity with Quick Books and tax software
• Excellent time management, especially in a remote setting
• A proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
• EA or CPA track (a plus)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldor equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public accounting firm

• Pay: $40-$60/hour (based on experience and performance)
• Schedule: Flexible part-time hours (minimum 15 hours/week)
• Potential for additional hours during tax season
