• Serve clients with diverse tax needs as a Remote Tax Professional, supported by an expert team and advanced tax training.
• Inspire confidence in clients by conducting virtual tax interviews and providing clear, accurate guidance.
• Build client relationships that grow stronger over time through proactive service and cross‑selling of additional products and services.
• Collaborate with leaders and peers to ensure effective remote work and measurable results.

• Experience completing individual tax returns.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Access to high‑speed, reliable internet.
• Experience and skill with technology (MS Teams and Outlook).
• Ability to communicate complex tax situations concisely via phone, email and chat to inspire client confidence.
• Strong customer service techniques, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week during peak tax season.
• Skill in researching information using tax tools and IRS publications/instructions.

• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex tax returns.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews that create client confidence.
• Tax planning and audit support experience.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
