Are you an experienced tax professional with a strong background in public accounting and a commitment to excellence? Kuhn & Associates is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to join our dynamic in-office team. If you're detail-oriented, technically skilled, eager to mentor staff and ready to take ownership of complex tax engagements, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in tax and consulting engagements; identify and address client needs

• Prepare and review general ledger entries and financial statements

• Prepare a variety of tax returns including:
Individual (1040), S Corporation (1120-S), C Corporation

Corporation (1120), Trust (1041), and Nonprofit (990)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns

• Analyze tax notices from government agencies and prepare initial response drafts

• Leverage firm technology effectively to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Train, supervise, and mentor Staff Accountants

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting

• Background in mentoring and staff development

• Proven financial, analytical, and technical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• CPA certification or eligibility is a plus
