Corporate Tools in Post Falls, Idaho is looking for a hybrid Corporate Accountant to join our growing Accounting Department. We’re a hyper-growth company using tech-backed services, professional services, and real estate. If that sounds exciting instead of terrifying, keep reading.

We’re looking for a licensed CPA to support our accounting operations. While you’ll stay close to the numbers, manage multiple books, and level up the team, you’ll also oversee processes and help ensure financial accuracy across the board. This role combines strategic oversight with a practical understanding of the details.

When something more complex comes up, such as a lease under ASC 842, a business combination under ASC 805, or revenue questions under ASC 606, we’re counting on you to dig in, do the research, and explain your findings clearly to the team.

We’d lovea go-to person for occasional technical challenges. Your ability to balance everyday accounting with deep dives is key to your success here.

This is a full-time, salaried position with hybrid availability. You will onboard and train in-person at our Post Falls, e for the first 90 days, then enjoy the flexibility of working a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in the office and the rest remotely.

$100,000-$125,000/year

• Conduct technical GAAP research and implement improvements
• Use your technical knowledge to influence business decisions
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Communicate financial performance effectively
• Develop processes to improve internal controls and operational efficiency
• Review accounting entries and documentation for accuracy
• Mentor and develop coworkers
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights

• CPA License
• 5+ years of professional corporate accounting experience
• Integrity and discretion
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Ability to acknowledge mistakes, adapt, and try different approaches
