Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe PDF.
• Ability to research routine and complex statutory issues.

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Experience with Zoho, Quick Books, Xero is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing books of accounts for clients across various industries.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for tax and audit purposes.
• Reviewing financial statements and preparing supporting work papers.
• Experience in payroll processing.
• Filing quarterly and annual payroll tax returns in the US.
• Determining sales tax nexus and advising on sales tax applicability based on products and services.
• Preparing and filing sales tax returns.
• Preparing state information returns for US filings.
• Interacting effectively with clients via phone calls.
• Availability to communicate with clients across US, UK, and India time zones.
• Collaborating closely with the tax and audit departments.
• Handling investment and trust accounting (US GAAP trust/estate accounting).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience in bookkeeping (US, India).
• Right attitude and potential to handle assigned tasks.
• Semi-qualified Chartered Accountants (India), CPAs, or those pursuing these certifications are preferred.
