AboutThe Role
Reporting to the leader of Global Revenue and Accounts Receivable based in Sydney, the Revenue Accounting Associate will own and coordinate the company's revenue accrual and reconciliation processes globally. You will play a key role in the business and will have responsibility for ensuring all accruals are accurate and reconciled on time, accurately, and in accordance with contracts and local legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure net revenue accrual processes are operating effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor PSP receipts and reconcile against dual payment partners.
- Partner with the Treasury team in the accuracy of cash forecasting via accruals.
- Support in ensuring correct invoicing from a regulatory and compliance perspective.
- Partner with our Platform Team to resolve accrual anomalies.
- Analyse differences between month-end accruals and actual invoices, and lead the resolutions.
- Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Partner with technical accounting and the financial reporting team to ensure adherence to US GAAP standard requirements.
- Support the financial reporting team in statutory and group audits on revenue-related topics.
- Support internal business related queries regarding revenue.
- 5+ years experience in revenue accounting with international businesses.
- Strong analytical skills to assess accrual and reconciliation requirements, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in providing information to external auditors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with a customer-centric mindset.
- Netsuite experience.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition requirements under US GAAP.
- Strong understanding of invoicing processes.
- Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements in handling customer information.
- Relevant certifications in Accounts Receivable accounting, or general accounting are advantageous, but not required.

- Proficiency with Netsuite, Carta, Google Suite, Office 365.
