Our client in Atlanta is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Ledger Accountant for a long-term contract role. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and enters invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and similar records of transactions in an automated financial/accounting system.
• Managing heavy reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records.
• Preparing financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a General Accounting role with heavy reconciliations.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining integrity of Balance Sheet
• Proficiency with General Ledger and Journal Entries
• Strong ERP & Excel skills, including pivot tables and Vlookups, for data analysis and reporting.
