Senior Accounting Manager – Captive Insurance

Next Play Jobs is partnering with one of the world’s largest captive insurance companies to identify the next senior leader in their accounting department.

In this highly visible role, both internally and externally, you will –

• Lead the accounting teams responsible for regulatory filings and financial reporting.
• Hire, train, mentor and develop teams.
• Present at client board meetings.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal cross functional teams in HR, tax, legal, risk management, operations, and corporate accounting.
• Work with outside partners across the industry including – auditors, brokers, claims adjusters, legal advisors, and regulators.

Required Skills, Experience, And Credentials

• Accounting degree and CPA
• 5+ years of experience in captive insurance accounting
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with both internal and external stakeholders

Location

This position can be fully remote or hybrid depending on the candidate’s location. Our client has several offices across the country where the accounting teams work.
