- Address complex and demanding client needs, mainly large real‑estate customers focusing on property damage (building, contents, operational disruption)
- Direct contact with stakeholders and serve as the central point for all damage‑related matters
- Communicate with insurance carriers, intermediary service providers and experts
- Act as expert decision maker on all damage‑related topics
- Strong commercial orientation: demonstrate added value in claims, coordinate with key stakeholders such as client CEOs
- Plan and monitor all parties involved in claims handling and drive process improvements where necessary
- Damage analysis, coordination and organisation
- Identify, analyse and assess major, complex or exceptional damage cases
- Lead major/complex cases with multiple parties, negotiate and manage crisis situations to minimise loss
- Negotiate and agree optimal resolution with insurers and clients for complex, large or exceptional claims
- Handle correspondence with the entire network, Marsh, insurers, third‑party providers – nationally and internationally
- Compile the task force for each claim, co‑ordinate communication, review reports and expert opinions
- Cohort with colleagues across the Marsh network, also abroad
- Completed studies in business administration, economics or a related field, preferably with a focus on insurance
- Strong expertise in property insurance
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high social competence
- Strong customer and service orientation, responsible for client matters in claims
- High proactivity, initiative, self‑organisation, commitment and goal orientation
- High flexibility, assertiveness, teamwork and resilience
- Solution‑oriented thinking and analytical ability
- Ability to quickly grasp complex situations and problems
- Commercially minded, big‑picture view, ability to see contexts
- Decisiveness and negotiation skills
- Good MS Office skills
- Ability to resolve complex problems
- Excellent German and English (written and spoken)
