As the Partner Marketing Lead for Germany, you are responsible to develop long-term local partner marketing strategies (B2B) and steer execution together with your direct reports. Your goal is to drive brand awareness via Partners & Couriers and grow partner quality and satisfaction. You will leverage your deep understanding of the local market and our partner landscape to identify and translate partner needs into actionable opportunities.
You are a strategic business partner for partner-facing teams, working cross-functionally with sales teams, global partner marketing, and other relevant stakeholders. You will report directly to the Marketing Director for Germany while also having high exposure and interaction directly with the Germany Managing Director. This unique position offers the chance to work in an international company with a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
Flexibility, high resilience and a hands‑on mentality are crucial for success in this role.
You will be managing a team of 3 FTEs in our Berlin office (hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days home office).
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:Develop annual / quarterly partner marketing plans aligned with overall business objectives, including budget management.
Accelerate the mental availability of Lieferando through Last‑Mile visibility within the partner and courier ecosystem by setting up an activation plan with internal and external stakeholders.
Evolve partner merchandise strategy & steer tactics around our partner webshop
Own mass communication towards our partner base, in order to support and lead partners effectively towards a successful partnership
Oversee partner activations to enhance partner engagement, like our yearly Partner Awards Campaign and Partner and Courier facing events.
Drive partner health, and adoption of growth tools through educational campaigns and sales support materials
Manage and drive a variety of strategic and tactical partner‑facing local projects in close collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
Monitor and report on partner marketing KPIs. Leveraging to obtain insights to help guide future planning.
Manage the German partner marketing budget in relation to KPIs.
Lead key Partner growth and experience pilot projects, moving at speed to test and learn to influence future direction.
What will you bring to the table?
10+ years’ experience with B2B (trade) marketing in an FMCG and/or (food) tech environment or similar
A data‑driven and customer‑centric way of working. You come up with new ideas, inspire others to innovate & coordinate efforts to turn plans into action
Strong interpersonal skills, working comfortably with internal & external parties
Proven experience leading and developing teams, creating clarity, and empowering others to deliver strong outcomes
Strategic thinking skills, strong in decision making, a test & learn approach
Collaborative mindset - demonstrated project management experience with ability to manage and build consensus across diverse teams
Strong organisational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Proven analytical and quantitative skills, the ability to translate numbers into actions
Open to business related travel to Amsterdam 1x month in average
Native German speaker, fluent in English.
