Electronics & Testing Technician (m/f/d) - EFT Mobility AG

Based at our subsidiary EFT Mobility AG in the center of Munich, you will help redefine the future of clean, high‑performance autonomous flight with next‑generation electric power systems for UAVs. The company, founded in 2019 by industry veterans from Tesla, BMW, and Siemens, develops batteries, chargers and power distribution systems optimized for demanding UAV applications.

• Perform high‑quality SMT and through‑hole soldering for circuit board assembly, modification, and rework.
• Design, build custom wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and test fixtures.
• Assemble and integrate electronic components into functional prototypes.
• Build, wire and maintain complex test setups and validation rigs for battery management systems (BMS), sensors and power electronics.
• Integrate and calibrate sensors (temperature, current, voltage) into test environments.
• Assemble mechanical components and enclosures to complete test setups.
• Utilize and maintain 3‑D printing equipment for creating custom jigs, fixtures, and prototype parts.
• Perform general mechanical assembly tasks, including drilling, tapping and fitting components.
• Handle and apply adhesives and potting compounds correctly for electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Assist in the assembly of small‑scale battery prototypes and test modules, focusing on precision and safety protocols.
• Maintain an organized lab environment, including inventory of components and tools.
• Document assembly procedures, build logs and modifications clearly and accurately.

• Proven experience as an Electronics Technician, Test Technician or similar role.
• Expert‑level soldering skills (SMT and through‑hole rework) and experience building custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Solid practical knowledge of electronics, including reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrated experience with sensor integration and calibration.
• Hands‑on experience with general mechanical tasks, including component assembly and using basic shop tools.
• Experience operating and maintaining 3‑D printers (FDM, SLA) and processing printed parts.
• Experience with adhesive handling and best practices for bonding materials and potting electronics.
• Familiarity with the safe assembly and handling of Lithium‑Ion battery systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and data loggers.
• Basic programming/scripting skills (Python, Arduino) for data acquisition or simple test automation.
• Familiarity with high‑voltage or high‑power electronics systems.
