ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology.
The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
We would like to fill the following permanent vacancy in a remote-based working model in Garching as soon as possible
Medical Affairs Manager - Publications (f/m/d)- Lead the development of abstracts, scientific posters, oral presentations, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
- Coordinate and manage internal and external publication review and peer-review processes
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with clinical research, biostatistics, regulatory, medical affairs, and other stakeholders to ensure impactful publications
- Ensure scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance (FDA, ICH, GCP), and adherence to journal and ethical guidelines
- Oversee disclosure management, conflict of interest documentation, and quality control of all publication materials
- Develop and execute the annual publication plan, aligning strategic priorities with actionable objectives, timelines, and pipeline milestones
- Manage publication tracking systems, journal submissions, conference communications, budgets, vendors, and external partners (KOLs, agencies)
- Support internal and external education initiatives while incorporating emerging clinical data and regulatory updates into publication strategies
- Advanced degree required (MD, Pharm
D, or PhD) in oncology, nuclear medicine, or a related scientific discipline - Minimum 3+ years of experience in medical writing, ideally within Medical Affairs, preferably in oncology, radiopharmaceuticals, or specialty therapeutics
- Proven experience in publication management and clinical trial publications within a biotech or pharmaceutical company
- Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration in matrixed organizations
- Deep understanding of GCP, ICH, and medical compliance standards.
Exceptional scientific writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail and quality focus - Solid project management abilities with capacity to manage multiple concurrent publications and deadlines
