As a Senior Product Designer (all genders), you keep an eye on the continuous development of our product design and are motivated to elevate our platform, the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) to the next level. In a squad with a product manager (PM), an engineering manager (EM) and engineers, you collectively work on the application's design of the IGP, as well as improving its user experience and usability.

You communicate across departments and teams with product designers, language specialists and customer success managers in order to sustainably enhance our user's product experience.

• Along with your tech trio (PM, EM, PD), you map out the next development steps for the applications in your ownership and create further product design visions
• You analyze the context of use based on stakeholder feedback and specify necessary usage requirements
• You synthesize all stakeholder feedback into actionable user workflows and create low-to high-fidelity mockups, as well as the subsequent prototypes
• You evaluate the created design solutions in coordination with the stakeholders and communicate the results to your squad
• You contribute to the design system by setting new requirements for the Design team and defining newly needed components together with your team lead

• You have relevant professional experience in product design and an extensive portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in the areas of UX/UI design and interaction design.
• You have design experience in the conceptualization of sophisticated web-based applications, ideally within a SaaS environment
• With your strong knowledge, you confidently lead the design process from concept to implementation and work with the product and development team to ensure that your designs are optimally implemented.
• You have excellent visual design skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating a successful user experience.
• Your strong communication and collaboration skills help you to clearly represent design decisions to stakeholders and team members.
• You have very good knowledge of the Figma design tool and are adept at using features such as Auto Layout and components to create complex clickable prototypes.
• Optionally, you have knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS
• You are fluent in German and English
