Key Responsibilities of the ICU RN:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
Perform thorough assessments and respond to rapid changes in patient condition
Manage ventilators, drips, and advanced life-support equipment
Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
Administer medications and titrate infusions per protocol
Document patient status and interventions accurately in the EMR
Participate in rapid response and code situations
Requirements of the ICU RN:
Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain before start)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum  2 years of recent ICU experience
Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills
Proficiency with ICU equipment and protocols
