A Skilled Nursing Facility in Auburn, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Ventilator Unit. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for ventilator residents and oversee the daily nursing activities on the unit to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Setting:
Skilled Nursing Facility – Vent Unit

• Shift: Nights, 7p–7:30a

Schedule:

Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents on the ventilator unit

• Provide leadership and supervision to CNAs and Ward Clerks

• Administer medications and treatments

• Maintain proficient documentation in care plans, MARs, and TARs

• Exercise independent clinical judgment in resident care situations
Requirements:

• Active RN license in NY (or compact, if applicable)

• BLS (AHA) certification

• Prior SNF or Vent Unit experience preferred
