A Field Sampling Technician is responsible for performing dust sampling and noise monitoring at operating sites. The Field Sampling Technician works to ensure accurate data is collected regarding production activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintenance of the monitoring equipment, shipping of samples to analytical laboratories, and providing field notes regarding the monitoring activities. Additional environmental and safety tasks may be performed while conducting the sampling and monitoring tasks.
This is a full-time seasonal position, working March/April through December (weather permitting). This position requires working occasional overtime and weekends. Regional travel is required.

Qualifications- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with co-workers in a fast paced, challenging environment
- Detail oriented with the ability to listen while safely following protocols and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Physically fit to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long periods
- Valid driver’s license
