This is an over the road role for a CDL A Truck Driver. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting vehicle inspections, loading and unloading cargo, ensuring accurate and timely delivery schedules, maintaining logs for shipments, and communicating effectively with dispatch centers.
Drivers will also handle maintenance checks to ensure vehicle reliability and condition.
- Valid CDL A license and a clean driving record
- Proficiency in vehicle inspection and basic maintenance tasks
- Skill in route planning, time management, and ensuring on-time delivery
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to load and unload cargo and adhere to safety best practices
- Experience with log maintenance and compliance with regulations
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks as needed
- Proven experience as a CDL A Truck Driver is preferred
