The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting daily logistics operations, including order entry, routing, dispatch coordination, and communication with drivers, customers, and account managers. This role ensures that shipments are accurately processed, tracked, and delivered on time while resolving issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.

Responsibilities for a Specialist Logistics include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and update customer profiles; enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system.

• Provide customers and receivers with updates on load status.

• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate arrivals.

• Take check calls from drivers and confirm delivery time frames.

• Validate all load information before marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes.

• Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages; complete all required documentation.

• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all shipments.

Candidates for Specialist Logistics must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of logistics experience

• General knowledge of the transportation industry

Preferred Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
