Freight Forwarder - Air Export

Job Overview

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is part of DSV Global transport and logistics, a world‑class provider of supply chain solutions. The Freight Forwarder – Air Export position is located in Omaha, Nebraska, within the Air & Sea division.

• Coordinate air export shipments, including scheduling with airlines and managing movement through transportation channels.
• Prepare and process customs documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular status updates to customers.
• Manage customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with internal departments (logistics, finance, operations) to deliver timely and efficient service.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and all relevant regulations.

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in freight forwarding is highly desirable.

• Basic mathematical calculations for cost and rate analysis.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

• Air freight logistics and customs regulations.
• Trade laws and regulations.

• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with logistics software and systems is preferred.

Base pay: $20.50 – $27.75 per hour, based on experience, location, and job‑related factors.
