Summary

• Maintain a professional appearance and knowledge of materials delivered to the customer.
• Safely drive and handle all materials in accordance with company standards of service.
• Perform warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Class E driver’s license (Class C for drivers in Illinois).

• 2 to 3 years of experience in material handling preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of customer service experience preferred.

This position operates in a warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and email, as well as standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers.

• Deliver company materials to customers in a professional manner.
• Effectively communicate with the public.
• Drive a vehicle (automatic/manual transmission) safely and legally.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to pick, pack, distribute, or ship/transfer.
• Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to sequence.
• Assemble customer orders and relocate to holding or shipping areas.
• Use computer and RF guns to manage sales orders, inventory, and enter data into the business management system.
• Participate in cycle counting of physical inventory.
• Open boxes and containers.
• Operate wire cutter per customer orders.
• Operate forklift.
• Maintain clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist customers as needed.

$19 to $20 hourly.
