With state-of-the-art production and delivery, Ready Mixed supplies all types of projects from highly technical commercial construction and high-volume paving to residential projects.

The Ready-Mix Driver will be responsible for all duties of the position, including the transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the plant

Inter to the job site in a safe manner. This individual will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled.

• Comply with all Department of Transportation requirements including but not limited to licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
• Operates truck in safe and professional manner on public highways, roads, in the yard area and at various job sites to deliver materials.
• Inspects the truck as required at the start of each workday, completing the Driver Check-off Sheet which indicates that all systems are functioning properly.
• Maneuvers the truck to deliver concrete to the point of delivery. Back truck under batching plant or hopper to receive concrete.
• Climbs the ladder, approximately 10-12 feet, on the mixer truck to view the load of concrete
  *** for consistency and amount, to inspect the drum for cleanliness.
• Adjusts the trailer axle pressure depending on the weight of the load.
• Follows written and verbal instructions to include city street maps, directions and can complete necessary paperwork.
• ️⃣ Assembles concrete chute(s) weighing 30‑50 pounds each.
• Moves hand and foot controls and understands and follows hand signals while operating the truck.
• Keep truck in clean working order, including basic maintenance. Spraying and cleaning after loads and preventing concrete build up in mixer.
• Must meet all eligibility requirements for driving a commercial motor vehicle in interstate commerce as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and the Department of Transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
