OverviewWe are seeking a Fleet Associate Leader with strong technical expertise and effective leadership skills to design, implement, and oversee strategies and processes that enhance fleet performance. This role is responsible for day‑to‑day fleet activity of all assets, shop maintenance, technician engagement, and all related facets of Fleet Operations—including workload planning, technician schedules, vendor management, safety, productivity, environmental management, and financial performance.
Key accountabilities include managing preventative maintenance programs, training and developing technicians, and initiatives that impact the business in cost, quality, and reliability.
- Lead the Fleet Team to deliver the cost, quality, service, and reliability results set out in the annual Fleet Capability plan.
- Build a shop strategic plan to drive Fleet performance.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs to ensure fleet reliability.
- Maintain 100% PM compliance each period.
- Manage service quality to eliminate breakdowns.
- Manage all regulatory compliance (DOT, EPA, FDA).
- Develop the technical and non‑technical capability of the Fleet Team.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Possess strong management, leadership, communication, follow‑up, and technical skills.
- Implement productivity, customer satisfaction, and employee initiatives that drive value.
- Utilize strong computer skills in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and Fleet Management Systems.
- Expected compensation range: $66,900 – $111,950, with salary adjusted for location, skills, experience, and education.
- Performance‑based bonus of up to 6% of annual salary, paid annually.

- Previous supervisory experience.
- Ability to create, implement, lead, and execute local fleet maintenance strategies.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Fleet Maintenance, Transportation, or Supply Chain Operations, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience, including building high‑performing teams, fostering collaboration, managing performance, and driving operational excellence.
- Proficiency in MS Teams and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
