• Safely drive & transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail & related materials in a company‑owned vehicle
• Operate a handheld scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment
• Demonstrate safe & courteous driving behavior
• Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections & maintain a clean, neat & orderly vehicle
• Route duties vary based on client and business needs; LSRs must perform all duties across all routes assigned; assignments may change over time
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation & adaptability with teammates & clients
• Build & nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture

• Strong customer service & interpersonal skills
• 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
• Demonstrated dependability & reliability
• Familiarity working with & adapting to technology
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points
• Ability to pass initial & random drug & alcohol screen
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads & in varying weather conditions
• Excellent driving history
• Regularly lift & carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Handle varying item weights & physical demands required by drop‑off & pick‑up responsibilities
• Lift items off storage racks
• Comfortable walking long distances & standing for long periods
