Job Summary:

Data Shield is looking for a dependable Service Technician/Route Driver to join our team. The majority of the Service Technician’s time is spent following a process to complete the day’s assignments. Operating a specialized 26' box truck to complete your route. Full on-the-job training will ensure your success at Shred Vault Colorado. Potential for growth and advancement including option for multi-day routes available.

Local and regional routes available.

Compensation:

• $22 – $24 per hour base depending on experience
• Paid health insurance
• 2 weeks paid time off
• CDL preferred but not required

• Drive and operate 22’ - 26’ straight trucks and mobile destruction trucks
• Execute assigned service deliveries in an efficient and secure manner (estimated 20 - 30 stops per day)
• Maintain the highest level of security and service as well as required continuing education
• Maintain accurate route records, customer documents and daily service records
• Operate industrial equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts
• Loading and unloading trucks

• Must be 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Ability to routinely lift, push, or pull 50 lbs
• Ability to push or pull wheeled carts with a weight of up to 250 lbs
• Ability to complete the work assigned effectively and efficiently
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and other employees
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work up to 10 hour shifts
• Route driving experience preferred but not required
