Position: PART TIME FULL TIME NonEmergency Medical Transportation Driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver (NEMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient non-emergency transportation services to clients who require assistance getting to and from various destinations. This position requires excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. If you are passionate about servicing people in the Omaha and Iowa area who are in need of transportation to and from doctors appointments, grocery store runs, etc.,

Our clients are used to a specific standard from us and we are looking for candidates who will uphold that standard enthusiastically! MUST HAVE A VALID NEBRASKA LICENSE.

SPOTLESS/CLEAN BACKGROUND CHECK & DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED!!!

Compensation

WE ARE A PAY PER RIDE COMPANY BASED OFF OF MILES, FULL PAY STRUCTURE IS EXPLAINED DURING INTERVIEW- BASE STARTS AT $17 FOR DOMESTIC RIDES (0-20 MILES)

Requirements
  • Must be 26+ to drive our vehicles
  • No history of DUI/DWI
  • No traffic accidents (even if you are not at fault)
  • No speeding tickets
  • No felonies
Responsibilities
  • Safely transport clients to and from appointments, errands, and other destinations in a timely manner.
  • Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting routine inspections and addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations, adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to confirm pick-up and drop-off locations, address any special requests or accommodations, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of mileage, trip details, and client information for billing and reporting purposes.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy at all times, providing a positive and welcoming experience for clients.
  • Handle any unexpected situations or emergencies calmly and efficiently, prioritizing the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate schedules, optimize routes, and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Uphold confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients, maintaining professionalism and discretion in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in transportation, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also functioning well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to assist clients with mobility challenges and lift or maneuver equipment as necessary.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and reliable transportation services to individuals in need.
Schedule
  • Part Time

    Schedule:

    May vary with opportunity for more hours or per ride pay. We are open Monday - Friday with some occasional rides on Saturdays.
  • Part Time

    Shifts:

    Early Morning 4:30AM-9:00AM;
    Day 2:30PM-6:30PM;
    Late Morning 10:00AM-2:00PM.
  • Full Time

    Schedule:

    Based on availability; 35-40 hours per week minimum, with 30 minutes to 1 hour lunch included.
  • Full Time

    Shifts:

    Early Morning 4:30AM-1:30PM;
    Morning 7:00AM-3:00PM;
    Late Morning 9:30AM-6:30PM.
  • Location:

    On the road.
