Talk Developer

The Small-Talk Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications using Smalltalk. This role requires a strong understanding of object-oriented design and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Smalltalk
• Analyze and enhance existing Smalltalk codebases, including legacy systems
• Implement object-oriented designs following best practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other developers
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Integrate Smalltalk applications with databases, APIs, and external systems
• Support system upgrades, performance tuning, and refactoring initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

• Proficiency in Smalltalk programming
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience with legacy systems and codebase enhancement
• Familiarity with databases and API integration
• Knowledge of performance tuning and refactoring techniques
