What You’ll Do- Install and upgrade commercial contract furniture at client sites, including high-end systems and components
- Load and unload furniture and components at warehouses and jobsites
- Uncrate products and remove packaging and debris from jobsites
- Inspect and document product condition prior to installation
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine installation methods
- Measure, mark, prepare, and cut components as required
- Assist with wall starts, wall mounts, and panel installations
- Secure panels, partitions, and related components for proper stabilization
- Install hardware including locks, trays, drawers, and accessories
- Communicate with Project Managers and clients before, during, and after installations
- Accurately complete daily paperwork including work orders, timecards, and progress photos
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite in accordance with AOI and client standards
- Commercial furniture installation preferred
- DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (AOI will obtain for eligible candidates)
- Valid Nebraska and/or Iowa driver’s license required
- Ability to read installation drawings and blueprints
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

This position is physically demanding and performed in active construction environments. Regular duties include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and using hands and tools. The role requires regularly lifting up to 75 pounds and frequently lifting up to 115 pounds. Work may occur indoors and outdoors and includes exposure to weather conditions, construction noise, and jobsite hazards. The employee must be able to safely navigate active construction sites and comply with all safety policies and PPE requirements.
