Responsibilities
  • Safely operate skid loaders and other heavy equipment in various milling and paving environments
  • Assist with site preparation, including cleaning, grading, and moving materials as directed
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to effectively coordinate workflow and project needs
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and regulations to maintain a safe job site
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a skid loader operator or similar role is preferred
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in construction environments
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery with precision and care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening
