Technician -Field Service

Overview

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain cutting-edge fire apparatus and emergency vehicles
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pump systems
• Perform on-site repairs and field service calls with professionalism and urgency
• Partner with service managers and technical teams to deliver top-tier customer service
• Ensure first responders can trust their equipment—because lives depend on it

• Solid mechanical or electrical repair experience (emergency vehicle background is a bonus!)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a “get-it-done” attitude
• Ability to work independently in the field and provide exceptional customer support
• Desire to continually learn, grow, and master new technologies
• A passion for contributing to a mission that matters
• Class B CDL - preferred
• Industry experience - preferred

• Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
• Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly
• Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 40 lbs occasionally, >20 lbs frequently
• Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
• Travel by air or car frequently
