Position: Industrial Pipefitter
Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States
Pay: $28-$32 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: 40-50 hours per week
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Pipefitter to join our team in Omaha, NE.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pipe fitting techniques, the ability to read blueprints accurately, and a commitment to working safely and efficiently.
Key Duties:
- Install and assemble piping systems according to blueprints and specifications.
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools and power tools.
- Weld and join pipes using techniques such as FCAW and soldering.
- Test piping systems for leaks to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain and repair existing piping systems as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Follow all safety protocols and comply with industry and company regulations.
- Proven experience as a pipefitter or in a similar industrial role.
- Proficient in basic math and measurement calculations.
- Strong knowledge of pipe fitting tools, techniques, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must have OSHA 10 or higher certification.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.
