- Assist the Service Manager and Parts person with scheduling work
- Order parts for jobs
- Take incoming customer parts calls
- Write descriptions of work performed to be used for invoicing
- Look up part numbers in technical manuals and online
- Research price and availability of parts
- Pack and ship parts to customers and function as shipper/receiver
- Maintain stock inventory and order emergency parts
- Support service manager with customer quoting and technician scheduling based on parts availability
- Previous parts experience preferred. Industrial/electrical/heavy equipment experience a bonus
- Comfortable working with a computer including Excel, Word, performing internet searches, etc.
- Good communication skills a must
- Team player that works well with others, toward a common goal
- Understands the value of good customer service
